In what marks the third death in as many weeks on Georgia's Lake Lanier, an Atlanta man recently lost his life after another boater struck him while swimming yesterday. According to officials, it is not clear yet why the 30 year old man was struck after taking a swim on Lake Lanier's south end near Flowery Branch. Although no charges have yet been filed in the boating accident, a full investigation has been launched to determine what actually happened prior to the man's death. This incident marks the first Lake Lanier death in the month of June after two others lost their life over the busy Memorial Day weekend.
