Child Dies After Being Ran Over By Family Member

A 15-month old child was struck and killed earlier today after a family member backed over her in a SUV. Authorities at this point have determined this was a tragic accident but are not sure if charges will be filled in connection with the pedestrian accident. The accident occurred at the girl's home on Red Cloud Road around 3 p.m. earlier today. The mother of the 15-month old girl tried to render assistance to her daughter but there was nothing she or anyone else could do to save her life. Updates are expected as more information is released.
